RPC Astrapak congratulates the Plastop site on recently retaining their FSSC 22000 accreditation after the stringent two-day audit by SGS at their premises in Prospecton.

To maintain the processes and to uphold the standard takes commitment and dedication from all the divisions within the company, and each and every team member played a special part to contributing to the success of the certification.

The FSSC 22000 scheme is recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). This allows RPC Astrapak to use FSSC 22000 to meet the requirements of several global retailers or major branded food companies under a single, internationally recognised food safety management system.*

RPC Astrapak Plastop General Manager Anesh Mohanlall was proud of the teamwork displayed for the successful audit result. “It’s imperative for our site to maintain the world-class food safety standards. Our team pulled together under the supervision and lead of Nomthi Ndaba (Plastop SHEQ Manager) to ensure that our teams are up-to-date with our systems and processes. Well done to Calvin Anandham (Production Foreman) for ensuring that the facility is always at a high standard.”

RPC Astrapak CEO Robin Moore said: “Well done to the team at Plastop and thank you for achieving a great audit result! This is another significant step in growing our business. You should all be very proud of this achievement!”
